So close. Whipped one together and it all works perfectly barring the IR receiver. It works but reads a different signal for the same button press, every time that same button is pressed.

So I may just leave the IR receiver out of the SMD assembly and resort back to the through hole one.

A bit saddening the IR receiver didn't work out. I think it has a too broad frequency range, or perhaps just too sensitive. I'm receiving upwards of 8 unique codes per button press. So I'll just resort back to the through hole IR receiver. Everything else is spot on.

Also made a new S16 jamma adapter. Supports remapping of 4 buttons and added some mounting holes. Just need to correct a minor cosmetic mistake re the outline of the switch silkscreen.

Really interested in one of this! great work!

Ramping up production now!

Machine soldered PCBs arrived today.

The only time consuming part now is soldering the USB C connector, takes a while and I need to do it twice. At least everything else is more streamlined now.

Paid orders going out soon...

Usually the 68k leaves a little bit of space between the socket and itself, the cable provided with the selector fits well. It doesn't move under the 68k but it's not pinched. I'm not sure that 3 wires with gnd vcc and RST can generate interferences if under the 68k

Thanks for the feedback.

If there's any suggestions for alteration of the code / menu system let me know. The latest firmware is pretty spiffy if you are motivated enough to update.

The only feature I wish I had room to implement was a filtered games list. Unfortunately there isn't a byte of space left to code anything else in.
