I have here my Naomi baseball panel that was the result of me taking 2 working but not perfect panels, and making the best one I could. I've enjoyed it, all the pots work nicely, and it's time to move it along.

The sheet metal is a little warped because these parts are heavy as hell, it straightens right out once installed. Minimal rust, and the security tabs are even still there.

Asking $375 shipped US. [SOLD ON KLOV FOR THAT PRICE]

Sorry to pop in a sales thread but, would you mind taking pictures and measuring the dust washers? I lost mine and it'd be pretty easy to recreate with the dimensions. AFAIK there should be two per stick.

I'll see what I can do, I have a digital caliper so I might be able to at least get you the top washer information. It's been a minute since I rebuilt them but I vaguely recall a second one; I think it would require un-mounting a joystick to fully access IIRC.

dang! if anyone else has a panel i've been looking for one. perhaps i need a wtb!

What's going on in there? The joysticks are also analog? not just the "pitch" bat?

yeah. i believe it is to make the batting more precise vs. a standard 8 way joystick.

This has sold on KLOV, but I'll measure the upper washers before I pack it at the least.

Yes, the panel is fully analog, both the joysticks and bats. Everything is 5K pots like Sega likes to do. Batting and pitching both are very precise with the analog joystick, the game is one of skill for sure, but very fun if you like that kind of thing. As you pull the bat back to prepare a swing, you can hold the bat halfway back to bunt or fake a bunt, and/or then you have to aim with the joystick while releasing the bat for a normal 'hit'. Obviously the further back you rotate the bat before you release it, the harder the swing.

This game would be -insane- if someone fashioned a rig with two 1p panels and back-to-back cab'd it. When playing a friend in VS, It's really too easy to cheat with your field of vision, and learning sleight of hand when playing side-by-side with someone is almost necessary.

I just finished fixing up one I bought on here, I used to play this a bunch as a kid and probably should be playing it right now :P.

Is the fielding automatic in the version that you have too? I have 99 running on a cart and it's all-auto until the fielder catches the ball.
I was considering setting up my net dimm to run what I assume is the updated version to see if the game gave a bit more control over the fielders.

Also, do you have any tips to consistently prompt the base-runner to steal lol?

If I remember right, you hold the joystick while batting toward the base as if the joystick had a birds eye view. so holding up and pressing one of the buttons to steal 2nd? It's been.... a while.

So yes, to confirm, certainly 2 per stick.

The top washer that sits atop the panel:
Inner Diameter: 12mm (you might get away 1mm smaller)
Outer Diameter: 52mm

The second dust washer inside the joystick has the same inner diameter, but I didn't remove it to measure the outer. It's approximately 1cm smaller (so 42mm?) IIRC. As long as it doesn't restrict movement it should be OK. It would be obvious when placing it before mounting to see if the OD is big enough to be troublesome.
