So I recently picked up a Seibu SPI board, and it didn't have the stereo header on it. It seemed to be this way from the factory, I can't see any evidence that it was removed, and there are a bunch of other parts also missing (see this thread).
But when I pulled the 4-pin header off my dead board and put it on this one, I noticed that someone's done some work on the amps. There's some fairly effective but unsubtle soldering in evidence. The result is, putting the board into stereo mode gives me one good, clear channel and one that does nothing but buzz.
I'm not good at audio, I don't know where to start with this. Can anyone point to a guide or give me any advice?
UPDATE: I went out and bought a stack of capacitors thinking I'd replace them, but before I started working on the swap I wanted to record the problem.
The problem's gone away. It works fine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
