What's new

I haven't installed the Negatron or voltmeter as yet, but you can get the idea.

Not indicative of the final version but pretty close.

Spot on @PascalP

Issue with the OSSC and VGA SCART is that the LPF is always enabled and can't be disabled. Meaning if the supergun is applying an LPF, on top of the LPF the OSSC is applying, the image quality degrades.

Won't be an issue with the Sentinel as I'm utilising the THS7374 and have incorporated a switch to enable or disable the LPF as you desire.
Scart you mean I guess ;)

No, to my knowledge one can freely enable or disable the LPF on an OSSC via the scart input. It's the VGA input that forces the LPF to on and can't be disabled via a menu setting such as can be done via the scart input.

That's my understanding anyhow.

That seems to clear things up.

I really need to grab an OSSC!

ok, cool, I always assumed there was no LPF on the VGA at all, so you then can set it to AUTO/OFF/95 for VGA when I'm reading it correct?

It appears so.

Just confusing for me as I don't yet own one and smiley did a great write up where I swear he said the LPF was on by default for VGA, and unable to be disabled.

Looking good Frank!

I see you performed the old magic eraser trick on the JAMMA connector :)

Many months of research, design and redesign!

Had fun with my Aldi 3D printer and printed a base plate, just for kicks. Ran out of filamanent about 85% through so it didn't quite finish.

Some awesome member here has a plexi case in the works ;)

Hey Frank,

I've got more Filament than I know what to do with so I'll send some your way. My brother literally sent me every single color that they make.

You don't need to do that. I'll just buy more from Aldi, $20 per 1kg roll.

Yeah not too shabby. You can see where the filament ran out, bottom left corner, and I had to stop the print.

Still, gives me ideas and was a good practise print.

Hey I Would Like To Ask To Please Be Put On The List For Interest In Buying One Of These!
