The PSU in my Sigma Raijin went out yesterday. I took it out and it's a Mean Well MWP-602 power supply, which seems to have been replaced by the MWP-606, then the MWP-608. None of which seem to be manufactured anymore.

I am looking for replacement recommendations in this thread. I get that I could put any old switching PSU in here, but it would be great if there was a readily available PSU that fit nicely so that I didn't have to drill holes in the Raijin.

Any info anybody has would be very much appreciated. Thanks all! ✌️

Oh man, thank you so much. Definitely please let me know. I'm happy to pay your price, should you find it!

Also, I used to go to the big yoyo contest out in Chico!

Hah! That's awesome, I've walked by that shop a few times. Used to have a Sigma Raijin also, they're awesome. I'd hate for you to drill holes in one of my favorite Supergun's! :)

Seems like my extra MW RT-85A holes line up on my Sigma…

@Ajax
Can you do cap replacements?

@Neodogg, yeah, I can do em’, I gotchu doggie. What do you need?

Also, to close the loop here:

The MWP-606 does work fine in this. The 602 seems to use considerably better quality PCBs and solder though.

Ha! I don’t need any caps, meant to say, can you replace the caps instead of buying a new psu?

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I recapped one of the PSUs I panic bought in the midst of this thread. We’re good to go now.
