FS Snapmaker 3n1 3D Printer NIB

For Sale
This thing looks really rad.
Laser etching is always something Ive been interested in.
Especially CNC for cutting my own plexi. (which I'm assuming this would do)
If my sales go well, and the money falls in place, I might have to get this from you.

Just be aware that the working area for the CNC is pretty small, when you say your own plexi it makes me think of fightstick panels etc, and this isn't really a product that's useful for that. If you're talking like cool custom keychains or something then maybe it's perfect.

The work area on this is not that large. For large plexis I ended up just getting a laser cutter. This is geared more for small parts. I primarily use one for routing out small pcbs for different things.

Out of interest and if you don't mind me asking, what's the cost of getting one?
All depends really:
Whats the work space size
Wattage of laser
Type of Laser
Cooling
Direct Vent or Filter Requirements
Chinese knockoff Import or from one of the more reputable manufacturers/dealers, etc..

When I originally price out what I wanted, it came out to around $8-9K (too huge for my space). But in the end, got something more reasonable that fit the bill, that ended up around the $4-5K range, which was more manageable, entry level unit to get my feet wet. Figure I could always sell it and get a larger unit if needed, so far I havent. Added bonus, I was able to write off the purchase as a business expense :) So not too bad.

Sounds good. What did you get?
Originally got a glowforge and returned that. It wasnt bad, but I hate some of their design choices, locations of certain things and that some items are non-serviceable to a degree. I hate the way their software works too.

Then went with a Bosslaser, 14x20" work area with 100w co2 laser (they do sales from time to time, or offer free upgrades).
Does everything I need and since it has a 4way passtrhu I can technically use longer pieces of material then the 14" or 20", which comes in handy if I were to do stuff for those large pcbs, etc... These were recommended by a friend that has one of their huge industrial laser cutter at his shop, I think 150-200watt laser, he does plastic/cnc machine work stuff. He does a workshop once a month, where for $50 he teaches you how to use the laser and lets you do cuts for free using any of their scrap materials. He says doing this pushes more business his way, because a lot of the people that show up end up hiring him to do their projects.
