This is the first I am hearing of this?

I also have a hi def nes toaster. I am using the stock power supply. My console was recapped and mod performed by Voultar. I've not experienced any issues.

Did several HiDef NES mods (with recaps) into AV Famicoms a few years ago, and all of them worked fine with the stock AC adapter.
