Is this what they go for now? (not price policing, genuinely curious)

I guess I should convert my invasion board and sell it.
 
Its a hype price with the movie and scanline city cases causing the inflation. If not that then it's just ebay foolery with the market value.

Most MK boards 1-4 are now selling in the $300-600 range I would say. The shocker for me was KI 1 or 2 at around the $1K price. I give zero fucks about KI I guess that's why its a shocker for me. The only MK board I now own is UMK3, don't really care to own the rest. Midway boards in general are just too f'ing finicky and seem to just die or have some shit fail too often.

I’m on board with you! I’m not a killer instinct fan but damn! Even a broken board cost up to $750+???!!! Mortal Kombat is what got me interested in collecting arcade hardware but the ones I have wanted were always so expensive but they were always available (pre-pandemic). I started collecting Namco stuff because they were cheap but it did take some time finding the games I wanted.
