A couple years back I bought a couple blast city cabinets from a vendor here. The cabs arrived late so I did not have time to properly inspect them as I had to sneak them past my wife. The next day I noticed that one cabinet had an ms9 squeezed into it. This sent me down a path of scouring the internet to find a replacement monitor. I traded the ms9 for a pfx but continued to look for a nanao 2931 because I was being a fanatic about the fitment. Long story less long I accumulated 3 blast city monitors all with their own idiosyncrasies and decided to move on from because I'm going to stick with the pfx and these things are taking up a ton of space.

Monitor B : SOLD!
Chassis: 2931
condition: slightest amount of black goop on the chassis the faintest amount of burn on the screen. Really cant see it even when your looking for it. This monitor had the anti glare coating removed and as a result its really bright even with the screen brightness turned really low. The unintended consequence of removing the anti glare coating is that now the colors seem to skew slightly green. Its just off and no matter what i did i could not get the white pure enough

Monitor C SOLD
Chassis: 2930
condition: Got this chassis from yhj and paired it with a tube I got from davesarcades the chassis does have a bit of goop on it which you could clean. As far as Ive seen these chassis are really durable and rarely ever have problems. The monitor is bright does have some burn on the screen which is a few rows and columns of 0's. Only visible on the whitest screens you can see it if your looking for it but its really faint.

Listen we gotta stop perpetuating this myth that monitors cant be shipped. I found the 18wheeler monitor in michigan and luckily the guy was willing to ship to me if I arranged it. Wound up paying yrc freight like 160.00 to pick it up from him and bring it to their terminal via train. I'm willing to help as much as i can.

willing to send the 18 Wheeler monitor back to Michigan? if so I'd love to get it shipped up here

Theres an idea kinda pricey... what do you do just pack it with peanuts
Peanuts, foam, whatever. It's got a proper pallet bottom and is forklift friendly.

Shipping a monitor ain't cheap, and this is one more cost for sure, but look, I don't have time to be building a crate. If you want the CRT get me the Uline deal, I'll put it together, but beyond that I got other shit to do.
