Some questions regarding Iona jvs to usb board and namco system 12 games!

Hello beatiful people of this wonderful forum,I would like to ask you some questions about the iona jvs to usb board and namco system 12 games!
I have a tekken 3 and a tekken tag board and I was wondering if someone was able to make the jvs to usb board work with them! I don't know ho to make the boards work
the jvs option on the service menu is always greyed out,is there something I need to do ? like supplying power to the port on the right of the board?
thank you for any reply! (my iona is updated to the latest firmware)(it is connected to the namco system 12 trough a usb cable and the board is powered by a usb type c charger)

The 3.3v is not necessary; just the 5v and GND pins.

If powered by that port it'll search for a JVS board on startup. Also JAMMA edge will be disabled; controls must be through the JVS board.

For Tekken Tag, this game features a pair play option, correct? If so, I'm going to assume that means that option is only accessible via JVS, so I'm definitely interested in learning how to do this.

yeah, pair play is JVS only and the way to play is by JVS linking

Not sure what that means exactly. Are we talking about multiple TTT boards, multiple JVS I/O devices, both? I've never done this so I'm not sure what would be involved.
