I'd like to replace the stock speakers in a Sega Net City cab. I know "Pioneer ds-d1002r" speakers are mentioned in a few places online, but those are over 10 years old and not easy to source now. So, I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for current drop in replacements that would sound great.

Speaker info from Arcade Otaku:
"Amplifier is powered by 17V AC, speakers are 10cm/4inch and 4ohms. Stereo input is normal RCA connectors, speaker output connectors are 2pin AMP U-P. The actual speakers are standard car stereo speakers, and can easily be upgraded."

Hi! :)

Focal 100 AC inside all my New Net City are equipped with it
The Tweeter is orientable

Bit late on this and it may be semantics but that statement from Arcade Otaku isn't entirely correct "The actual speakers are standard car stereo speakers, and can easily be upgraded." , the stock speakers are shielded and car speakers are (generally) not. Of course there is nothing stopping you fitting car speakers it's just a distinction worth mentioning.

How did the ones listed work for you? I’m replacing my speakers as well.

but the TS-G1020Fnot shielded. any trick to add shield on this?
