Hi!

My name is Alpaca. I love SEGA SPIKEOUT FINAL EDITION

Recently, I've completed audio mixer board clone projects.
  • 839-1078 AUDIO MIX-S BD SPK
  • 838-1345 AUDIO MIX BD
These are required for SPIKEOUT FINAL EDITION (FE) and DIGITAL BATTLE ONLINE (DBO) and should work with other MODEL3 games that as well.

Here is a picture of comparison between original one.

Background
I’ve see many junk SPIKEOUT PCBs ended up sold only by game board itself, which was the same with some of mine as well;( Since SEGA doesn't manufacture them any more and wasn’t able to source one in second hand, I searched for alternative solution. During that found out that DSB2 was cloned here. And if that has been cloned why not do them for other ones too? So I did:)

Overview
  • Plug-n-Play - PCB size, mounting hole, connectors follow original design
  • Same sound quality - audio amplifier and component values follow original design
    • Some components have been replaced to current main stream components
  • 30+ hours tested - Tested on BLASTCITY cabinet for 30+ hours with active SPIKEOUT player
This was my very first PCB build project and took about 7 months to complete. It took time but it sounds great!

I've built them for myself but if there is someone who is in help like I was let me know.

Thanks!
