Start of a chihiro type 3 repair/modding project

Ok boys small update.

Literally everything has been recapped.

IC10 and IC11 were dumped and reflashed.

original xbox board has a full recap, sega mainboard, network boards.

I swapped the smaller CYPRESS IC but that did nothing, this was to be expected to be honest since they didnt measure shorted.

I have the bigger CYPRESS IC coming aswell, going to swap that out too why not.

apart from that im absolutely clueless what my problem can be, I have been trying to repair this thing for half a year now and I dont seem to be getting anywhere with error 02.

is that blue "supercap" the original ?

its not original everything is new.

I did find something of interest.

these two resistor arrays are out of spec in the three inner ''banks'' according to the markings all five should measure 4.7k.

the two outer ones measure 4.7k but the three inner ones measure 9,54k, this shouldnt be normal.

I took one out of circuit and it measures the same so its not some capacitor or something influencing my measurements

I need someone to confirm this for me if possible on a working board if possible.

I dumped IC32, I believe it hasnt been dumped before.

I know IC10 and IC11 are important for the cypress IC's but this one is nearby aswell.

Is there a list and an archieve of dumped firmwares from known good boards? I want to compare mine since this one is non functional

MAME contains many of the dumps yea.
