Strange chip on Snow Bros 2 Bootleg

Hi

I'm trying to fix a sprite problem on a Snow Bros 2 Bootleg (the sprites are positioned at random locations, not the entire sprites, but portion lines of it)

I came across this chip and i have no idea what can it be as there is no information on google

Anyone have an idea that this chip can be?

As you said, there’s no online data sheet. Possibly an old gate array. What does it communicate with?

Hi

some pins goes to 4 74LS166 (shift registers), if i short this pins the sprites change the colours, but i don't remember well, i think that some tile would go away to another location (or change the data tile)

other pins go to a gfx/sprites roms.

P.D. i lifted all the 5V lines of the strange chip, and the sprites now all have a square around them and only 2 colors (like mask data), but the garbage lines are still there, then i no suspect about this chip at the moment
