Hey !

got a "fully working " Strikers 1945 bootleg PCB . Got most of my money back since there was a few issues with it. i managed to fix the non working sound but there is a bigger issue with it.

I cannot rotate the display even with the right dipswitch turned on (SW2 Dip1). As you can see on my pictures, the pcb detects the Dip 1 being turned on but the display is still upside down.

I also get à BG RAM issue on startup (see pic) . Games seems to play fine ....upside down ...Can this be related ?

PCB is clean. no apparent PCM dammage.

Any help ?

Most likely the bootlegger that made that version did not actually implement screen rotation on that PCB, thus why the DIP switch doesn't do anything
 
remove the actel chips from the square plcc sockets - then put them in again.
the wiping action will clean the contacts.
and check if the sockets are bulging out at the sides - some crap sockets warp over time.
