And agreed, I dont want to damage these stock ones at all if I can avoid it!I got these off eBay a long time ago, but don't see them anymore.. id try cutting some plexi or something from a hardware store and drilling into that. You don't want to mess up the stock panel, it's hard to get.

believe it or not there are actual 1:1 repos of these, I bought a set a while back that I could drill up to make a custom button panel. They were all over ebay for a while. lots and LOTS and LOTS of custom panel replacements for this spot as others have pointed out.
Does anyone make a replacement panel for this that looks stock? If not, without replacing with the panel that’s out there with the volume rocker hole that looks like the control panel art what’s my options? I’m afraid it would be to drill into it, but I really don’t want to do that if necessary. Especially as if I f it up, I’m up a creek.
Maybe there’s another place I can put a home button etc. I’d rather it look clean, am I missing any obvious spots?
Yeah I’ve heard of repro ones that people have bought. But they seem to be all gone and finding replacement originals is impossible. I personally don’t like the ones that look like the control panel artwork. I’d rather it be black.
