My Sunset Riders appears to have died in storage - it's doing two odd things:
1) Playing the wrong sound effects in some places, for example one of the two death sounds for generic enemies is playing 'bury me with my money' and parts of the intro are playing incorrect sounds. Music seems normal.
2) Mask ROM check doesn't seem to work, counts down from 7 to 0 and never displays a summary screen but it doesn't hang as you can still press start to exit, just stops on zero.
Version EBD, I've checked the eproms already. I'm not really sure where to go on this one. Found schematics but the whole sound section seems to be missing, are there any complete ones?
