Hi all! I'd like a Mahjong supergun setup that supports most (all?) Mahjong arcade games, and any parts for that. Recommendations welcome, if you do not have one for sale.

I know there are PANA Twin examples of this (one of which is on eBay, but it's in bad shape).

A few years back I stuck a small Sanwa PSU and a HAS supergun inside a Blast CP housing to make a Jong-Gun. I realize having an exposed PSU in a control box wasn't the safest approach, but if you are playing arcade jong, let's be real you don't have much to live for.

Also @buffi made a similar thing but with an entire 3D-printed enclosure:

Just some ideas!

That's amazing, @themisterfalcon and exactly the kind of thing I want. Actually I see mahjong panels are super easy to find on eBay.

Is that a real Blast city housing or a custom made enclosure that fits the panel? If someone makes ready-made control panel housings for various cabinets, I could get one of those on eBay and wire something together.

Edit: I guess I could buy a used Boardmaster and fit it into that.

Edit 2: Actually I see a lot of housing options on eBay for this. Sweet.

This is a real Blast City housing. The one Buffi made is custom.

Is a Majong supergun much different from a standard one? I have never had much to do with Majomg cabs.

Mahjong has a different pinout/layout than Jamma also obviously doesn't use a stick + btns but only btns in a Mahjong layout (there some difference in panels, they omit some btns sometimes).
You can use Mahjong boards on a regular Jamma supergun with a passive adapter (buffi released gerbers for one if you need one), the only part that's sometimes iffy is the audio part which is solved by switching "Audio -" to Common Ground and Vice Versa (don't believe me and check yourself if it becomes relevant)
