System 10/11/12 Game ROM build version differences

Has anyone ever come across a good source that details the differences in builds for Namco System 10/11/12 games?

For example the Tekken games typically have an A/B/C/D build in addition to the typical Japan/USA/World regions.

One assumption is that the latest build is the “best” and aim for those, but that may not always be the case.

Theres also sometimes region specific differences in games (such as Fighting Layer) and it would be good to be aware of those as well.

for namco games letters A,B,C are used for game revision and number 1,2,3... are used for the region, for example - Tekken (Japan, TE1/VER.B) "T E 1 - 1 is japan" where Tekken (Asia, TE2/VER.C) " T E 2 - 2 is Asia" if I'm wrong please correct me
