Taito F3 Playing blind on mini cute

I got my Taito F3 out of storage and went to enjoy its Tate selections when hit a roadblock getting it to work.

I can hear the attract music from the games I select but no image.

I remember this being finicky on some of my cabs but unfortunately I cant access my monitors GUI to mess with sync and such because ti causes my green power light on my monitor to flash and then turn off completely making a constant but feint (*click.*click.*click.*click.*click.*click.*click.*click.*click.*click.*click.*click.) noise.

I don't believe the SD card is corrupted. Is there anything basic I could be missing in my operation?

F3 is famously troublesome for video sync. What monitor/upscaler?

So far I’ve used it on a Splitfire going to AV3 OSSC into a VGA CRT monitor in side the Mini Cute Repro and then recently into a HAS V4 to AV3 OSSC going to a 37” CRT Megaview.

No image but sounds work great after flash.

Last time I used it was 1-1/2 years ago on my NAC and it worked great. I placed it in a USPS box and onto a rack in my storage.

I’ve yet to try it on the NAC again but I feel there is an issue with the motherboard during storage. My F3 worked great on the Megaview in the past as well albeit a little wonky over SCART.

I tried resetting the 4 A board inputs and cleaned out the sd card mech on the multi. The fact that it plays sounds properly has me worried that it’s not an SD format issue but I’m willing to try anything at this point.

I never got to enjoy the Tate selections and the F3 has a few of them
