Hi all,
I need to replace a diode on an F3 board (reading 0.000v in both directions) and I’m not sure what voltage to replace it with.

Silkscreen on the board is ZD5 - diode has B2 written on it.

I’ve replaced it and it worked but I’d still be interested to know what the correct replacement is.

It should have another number/code on it identifying the series/type

B2 stands for the grade usually which will give you the voltage range once you know the type/series.

Ex...This is a series 6 with a C2 grade which would make it a Vz range of 6.0-6.3

Indeed. In this case however there is nothing on it except B2 :( I assume because users were never supposed to be replacing these

Ill check my MB and see if i spot anything on the diode. The other clue is what circuit is it part of.

It’sa being used as a voltage regulator on the sync line
