This would be hilarious and sad at the same time. I am also wondering why you feel so. And @ImportantBet you should be able to prove quite easily this is not the case by sharing the responses from OVS / Junko(Yugo)
 
Lol..... I was the one who started the initial conversation with Junko, before it was handed off to @ImportantBet.

I have my conversations with him as well as having seen some of the other conversations that have occurred.

These are 100% Taito made and @ImportantBet did a fantastic job of knocking this out for everyone, and I can't thank him enough.

Nooo Junko/Yugo has been the one responding throughout the years. I'm sad now hehe
 
Junko and Yugo are two different people.

I first contacted Taito in 2016. Back then it was Yugo.

Sometime after the emails were signed Junko / (Yugo).

Now it's just Junko.

Ah, I always got both signs like you showed so I assumed that it was the same person with split personality or something :)
 
Sorry i wasnt implying it was repro just wondered if it was. Are there any left?

And i know taito will reprint stuff but only if you order enough to make it wort it. I reckon they will reprint pcbs and artwork if there is enough demand. Maybe group order for some prototypes or expensive pcbs???
 
I talked to Junko too! Asking for a few vewlix parts. Yikes on that handling and shipping! Has anyone ever done a vewlix group buy?

I did a Vewlix panel and JVS IO group buy a few years ago. It's a lot of work! I don't envy ImportantBet for this one!

Their Vewlix panel reprints were not as good as the originals. They didn't add the metallic effect like they did with the E2 arts.

I would personally take an @alberto1225 repro over a new Vewlix panel, unless they gave it the same treatment as these E2 arts.

That order was with Yugo though, so maybe Junko is better at listening. The JVS I/Os were fine though. And the Vewlix L panels were new old stock, so those were nice.
 
I was looking into side panels and the right auxillary panel. They have the right panel but I forgot to ask about the side panels. Mine are a little dinged up but I should be able to buff them up a bit. Regarding the small right panel, I might attempt an elegant magsafe charger mod as I'm not looking to keep it stock. I'm also not looking to change anything on the outside, just repair it where can be improved.
 
Finally got a chance to open mine, and WOW, quality looks top notch to my eyes. YES the silver looks silver and metallic. I'm sold!!!

Here you can see how shiny and silver the process looks, you can even see how yellow my original one is and how white the new one is.

The only part I'm replaceing on mine right now, the instruction sheet printout. It was hard to tell how accurate it is, b/c mine is so damaged. It looks great to my eye!

Here is the only sticker I don't understand. It's the security sticker, but the repro is way to big to fit on the door and also has an outline mine does not have.

Also, I'd love to get this sticker repro'd as well as all the ones on the back of the machine.

Finally, I still need the metal tang for the CP door. This run was AWESOME, now onto the next one!~!!!!!
 
Also I want to once again thank @ImportantBet for taking this on. What I can only assume was a big headache AND I have bought many, MANY, repro'd stickers and parts over the years and none have been in the ballpark of the value of this one. You get FULL stickers for the sides and many of the extras for $95. That's fucking nuts, excuse my Japanese. I mean, over on KLOV one stupid crappy CPO is like $70.

This deal was a STEAL and I can only assume @ImportantBet did so much work and I just hope he was able to get a few sets for himself out of it for free.
