Hello all, I am running another batch of repro parts from Taito.
If you are not familiar with the last run, please check: https://www.arcade-projects.com/thr...ret-2-oem-side-art-stickers-and-decals.29411/

These are the confirmed parts I'm able to repro so far:

E3013220A M.S. COIN GUIDE: https://i.imgur.com/OfHWpoM.png
E3000180A ACTUATOR COVER: https://i.imgur.com/SAWL0w2.png
E3013216A GLASS STOPPER (set of 2): https://i.imgur.com/x31ItmM.png
D2001638B BACK DOOR: https://i.imgur.com/oqm2j55.png

I only quoted for a small batch so the price is looking like 27,600 yen for a set. If I am able to get more interest, price will come down by a lot. I'm still under negotiations but I could potentially add in more stuff. I will be shipping each individual set from Japan this time. It'll be the same initial payment arrangements like last time done (PayPal F&F in CAD equivalent). I will try to to make a Venmo to process payment for US customers.

More to be announced so I will keep OP regularly updated. Please leave a reply below in this thread if you wish to be on the waitlist.

P.S I personally want to give thanks to those who bought some of my recent stuff to help me fund this purchase from Taito

Can you tell me more about the coin guide? Is that the one that seems to be missing from various cabinets coin mech assemblies - or is it Taito specific? Thanks 🙏🏼

I'm not knocking you at all @ImportantBet , the work you did on the E2 stickers was absolutely amazing.

I'm just curious about why something like the PCB base, is necessary, as it's just a sheet of MDF I believe, with the hole for the mounting screw drilled.

Also curious about why these items would need to be ordered in a "set", as it feels like they are things that most people would only need one or two out of, rather than everything.

I think the coin inserts shroud that goes on top of the panel, and the wheels, would both be good items to get if we could possibly arrange it, along with all the various lock latches, like for the control panel, and cash box.

Regardless, I wish you success in the order, I just don't think there's anything in it, that I currently need.

If I had the funds, I would sell items individually but that is not the case. Splitting items will increase warehouse work costs.

I am working on getting the coin inserts and other items. Again, I just don't have the funds to split items otherwise I would be left with tons of overstock. Sorry.

Sigh...I understand. It just feels like there has to be a better way.
I don't want you stuck with inventory either.

Best of luck.

Last effort blew me away dude, great job. I don't need these parts, but if it helps the cause I'm in for a set!

That being said, I really need a CP tang.....

On another note, Taito is able to make repro 2L12B control panels but not the overlay itself.

Right now, I'm emailing Sanwa to see if they can take on making the overlays if Taito is able to license them out.
Is the light up marquee still out of the realm of possibility? I forgot what they said last time.

Apparently there is not a production facility over there, that Taito could work with at price that made sense to them.

I really do believe that a 3d-print is probably the best solution for that, rather than the expense of getting an original piece, and then doing injection molding.

I also think that means we need stickers or a water-transfer decal made by someone to attach to the plastic, but it means we could get AWSD, E2 and E3.

It looks like the original art was screenprinted, but I can't tell exactly how it was applied.

It's definitely the most requested piece....eventually there HAS to be a way to get it done, in a way that works for enough people to be worth it.

It's the same with the multis. Only bigger batches make sense economically.
