JAMMA plays nicely with me, computer hardware and JVS seems to not like playing with me very much.
I have finally gotten a TTX2 multi up and running but I have a few questions.
My motherboard seems to be running a 1.8ghz duel core processor. I have tried changing it out with a few things and nothing but the one in there gives me anything. I just get the fan cycling through on and off and a black screen when I have tried 3 different processor types the 3.4ghz recommended and a couple of multi core options faster than 1.8ghz but slower than 3.4ghz.
I upgraded to 2gb of RAM and that works.
Putting the Nico multi onto an SDD I can't seem to get to work. Tried 2 Intel SSDs one 250gb and one 500gb and both give me an error something like operating system not found. On a WD 500gb platter HDD I get the multi firing up. Any suggestions on migration to an SSD? Are the 2 I tried just stuffed or are these fussy about the type of SSD.
Graphics card is a flashed nivida 7900GS and I have a spare if anyone is in looking. These have gone up quite a bit recently so I was glad I got 2 a while ago.
The TTX2 is sitting on my work bench after I got it fired up and not in a cab. Biggest reason I wanted to get this going was SFIV but I am not sure if my processor will do that one. Does anyone have any insights into this? and maybe how I upgrade the CPU if it won't run as is. Untill I either know SFIV will run or find a way to upgrade the CPU I dont really want to put the fan back on properly and box it up, so any assistance is appreciated.
