Hello Friends , i have a Ttx3 with Artax Multi v4 With SSD 1tb WD Mounted in my vewlix L Cabinet but i dont have Fast io or JVS i dont know if the problem is because i dont have fastio/jvs. but i cant boot is just startup boot and then black screen, the only way i can boot is windows in safe mode, but the menu is very slow.. i hope the community can help me, im newbie on all of this thanks in advance.

i need a fastio with 6 buttons someone recommend one in specific? i dont know if brook universal fighting board can work in my ttx3 with multi or i need a other one.

The lack of Fast IO and JVS wouldn't cause the problem you're running into - you can use a standard USB controller to navigate the frontend menu once it pulls up.

It sounds like something is going wrong during the GPU initialization. What GPU are you using? Is the power supply stock?

is the stock gpu Gtx 660 msi twin frozr3 , and the power supply is the stock too

Try a different power supply first-any standard PC power supply will work. If that doesn’t make a difference then try swapping in a different Nvidia GPU-even a weaker one than a GTX 660 will work just for testing.

im testing the gtx 660 in other pc and effective is faulty , after install drivers turns black screen, then in the multi go in safe mode and remove the drivers and works good in the menu no lag and no slow, so i need remplacement my 660 , i see your post bios update for ttx3 so i can install any graphics card flashing the bios like 1050 1650 ti? any uefi graphics card or just legacy? the other question is what jvs or fastio i need buy? for 2 players 6 buttons + start for each player? thanks

After the BIOS update, any Nvidia GTX card will work fine.

If you don’t already have a cab with Fast IO or JVS, the easiest way to get 2 player 6 button up and going is with the MP07-IONA-US. It’ll adapt two USB controllers to JVS.

thanks for the info , i dont have fastio/jvs , so i get MP07-IONA-US and i connect in my jvs ttx3 and then i need 2 boards connect to MP07-IONA-US usb p1 and usb p2 , emulate the controller of xbox or ps3 to my sticks and buttons right? and you know if i get input lag with these boards?

I'm pretty sure that IONA doesn't work on the TX3 and also, not every game works with JVS on the multi, there's a bug in the code. All the games that load, work properly with FAST I/O.

Edit: IONA does work on the TX3, my memory sucks.

what fast i/o need get for 2 players and 6 buttons? or other solution?

The IONA works fine with the TTX3 when connected to the TTX3’s JVS port and JVS is supported & enabled in the drive image you’re using. The Artax V4 has both JVS and Fast IO support available for all the games on the image, which includes the entire TTX library of games.

The Iona let’s you connect two USB controllers, so any standard PS3/PS4/360/XBoxOne controller works fine. One Iona connects two controllers. Not sure what the latency numbers look like with it. Fast IO gives you the fastest (best) low latency, but it’s a big headache to work out if you don’t have a cab wired up for it. Stick with JVS.

It looks like your cab is wired for JAMMA which then goes into a 60 pin JST harness adapter.

You should pick up a Fast I/O like the K91X1243C. It'll allow you to plug in your 60 pin harness easily, supports 6 buttons per player, and gives you the lowest latency on a TTX3. Just plug your 60 pin JST harness that's currently going into the Pandora into this instead, then run an Ethernet line from the Ethernet jack on the amp board to the Fast IO port on the TTX3.

Hey ShootTheCore, just came across your reply above when Googling. I have a TTX3 with Artax V4 and am having no joy whatsoever getting my IONA MP07 to work at all. Have you got one working yourself with this same setup? (TTX3, Artax V4)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The IONA has been … odd. It worked fine with the TTX3 when I first got it, but then I updated the firmware to the latest and it stopped working with the TTX3. I need to mess with it some more and figure out what firmware version the TTX3 likes - I’ll look into it this week and will let you know.
