So here's the deal. I recently put together a Target Terror Gold build. I have a bunch of extra parts from lots that I mixed and matched and don't need. I'm willing to sell as a bundle or seperately but I'd really like to move this stuff.

Currently listing as MMAO for it.

There is certainly enough parts here to make a build but its trial and error with software vs hardware. If you buy the lot I can include disks of almost every revision of software for free. I'll also include a PSU that works, not the right firm factor but gets the job done.

What I have:

Motherboard M7NCG 400
- fan will spin when powered, installed a couple missing caps, CPU included, don't know beyond that

Motherboard MS7181 V2.0
-fully recapped, 5 were bulging when purchased, works, CPU, GPU and RAM included

GPU MSI MX4000 T128
-works, same GPU that comes with MS7181

USB security dongle
-HASP4, works

Parallel security dongle x2
-HASP4 M1 1.5, works

I/O board
-U4 rev 1.8, U6 rev 1.01, works

Watchdog harness
-works

Power supply
-Does not power on, tossing if no one wants it

Mount
-big metal piece for everything to mount on, heavy, good shape

Not looking to make a ton of money here but I'd like to recoup a little. Thanks everyone!

Hi,
I am looking for help in restoring a target terror arcade. (V. 1.38d) I have seen you post about TT. Specifically, the original kortek monitor was irreparable. I have found a replacement crt tv with s-video and composite inputs. I cannot reproduce the overlapped video input to the crt tv.

Based on wiring diagram, only video output required is from Jamma harness to tv. PC has two VGA outputs. Currently, no matter how I hook the I/O board and video up, the booting stops at the calibration with the error 105b: interface board not present. I have 4 red leds on I/o board. Does not seem to be a power issue. This seems that the I/o board is not recognized or dead.

How do you connect the video setup? I am happy to provide pictures, and any details of what I have done.

Thank you for any help.

If it was a dedicated cab it was most likely vga. Even though the I/O board has dips that can be set to CGA it won't work. The TV is going to be 15khz which is CGA. I couldn't get a dedicated v1.38 running on my k7000's or my crts. Basically you need either a VGA capable monitor or you're going to have to find different software and/or different parts.

Thank you for the reply. It is a dedicated cab. I got all new hardware and software components to upgrade to 2.12. The restore disc from eBay gave a copyright error. What is your suggestion for a new HD image?
