Tecmo Ninja Gaiden Volume Pot

Anybody in this community able to tell me what the working ohm level is supposed to be for a Tecmo Ninja Gaiden?

Pot is dirty and doesn’t work, even after multiple deoxent and alcohol cleanings. Want to replace but since I don’t get a full reading on it I need to reach out.

Thanks Brakvader, going off of what I’m reading I’m guessing it’s a 1Kohm pot but verification can’t hurt

I’m also having nasty noise/hum on my board and can’t figure out what it is …. Do you have similar issues on your Ninja Gaiden?

Yes 1kohms for sure.

I try it for the hum noise.

I had a little hum at starting and when i move a little the pot, but then the hum stop and nice and clear sound and no noise from the pcb.
