Hello everybody! Today I'm happy to finally release the Widescreen Patch for Tekken 4!

All of the graphical bugs should be fixed now but let me know if you encounter some!

Also be aware that it's not going to be a 16:9 resolution,you will still need to fill/stretch the image on your monitor/tv!

Can I assume that TK4GAME is a patch file for the ISO, and TK4LOAD is a patch file for the security dongle? And what program should I use to apply the patch.

Both are dongle files, nothing on the ISO needs to be modified

Yes,I should specify that no changes are made on the ISO.

EDIT 1: Got dongle file extraction figured out thanks to this thread: https://www.psx-place.com/threads/analysing-namco-system-2x6-dongles.38408. Turns out PCSX2's memory card manager has a "Convert" function that extracts constituent files from a dump.

EDIT 2: However to accomplish our task (i.e. overriding a file on a 246 dongle image), we need use mymc. PCSX2 can nominally build a memory card from a directory, but you'll find Play throws a "Couldn't open executable specified by virtual path" error when using the result. Anyway your commands will be something like:

mymc.exe "tef3verc.ps2" add "TK4GAME"
mymc.exe "tef3verc.ps2" add "TK4LOAD"

EDIT 3: After these modifications, I found Play boots the game but loads indefinitely when trying to start a match. Trying to understand why that might be. Presumably it means that TK4LOAD works, but TK4GAME does not. Which version of Tekken 4 is this mod for?

I am trying to apply this patch for use on the Play emulator. Do you have tips for how to do this, i.e. replace the TK4GAME and TK4LOAD files in my ZIP dongle dump? Namely which tools/wikis/sources should be I employing. The closest thing I have found is ps3mca-1.5.1.0 (note: keys not included), but it's designed to work with an attached USB -> memory card adapter device rather than targeting a file.
