I bought a Tekken 6 player card from Arcade Spare Parts. I put it in an arcade (6br) in Korea and it says card reading failed. I also connected the card reader I bought from that mall to my system 357c and it doesn't work.
Tekken 6 card not working.

Iirc the cards are region specific.

No It seems to me that it's the difference between an "ID card "and a " data card."

If I remember correctly, Korea's 6BR runs online, the card just records the login account, and all information is saved on the server, similar to Tekken TT2 and 7.

Not true at all for Tekken 6/BR, those run offline like the guy mentioned above. Tag 2-7 used banapass and servers

I guess it seems like you're sharing a cloud local, since you insert the machine card once, play the game once, and then register on the website. If the name is edited on the server, it seems like the name is edited when you insert the card into the machine after editing, and then it's synchronized.
