Thoughts on the BackBit Platinum cartridge?

Finally got the shipment notification for my cart, along with one for my Octopus fighting stick. Should be a fun time when everything arrives.

Mine has arrived, I'll test it out this weekend. However, one issue I'm seeing right away is that it's a gloss finish and picks up fingerprints like nobodies business (and I'm sure scratches will show up more than they would otherwise). Does come with a cheap microfiber cloth though...

I actually emailed her about paying for the 3D-printed cases, and she said maybe in the future. I wonder if she would share the files so we could print our own cool cases, similar to the preview models she had.

Sucks for people with consolized MVS systems who can stare directly at it, lol.

Yeah that thing is a fingerprint magnet. It'd have been nice to get a matte style cart. I also noticed that the case doesn't really have ventilation. It just has the indentations that look like vents.

While mine is in an MV1C inside my cab the finger prints arent really a big deal, but I can see people getting up in arms about scratch marks and whatnot.

This was in the bottom of the box, so they know the shell is a problem...

Other than the shell quality, it's been doing what it was expected to do. I've loaded it up with various ROM sets from projects I've backed (YoYo Shuriken, CyborgForce, 420p Test Suite, etc) and so far everything has worked as well as could be asked.
