MX27c4000 is a 32pin equivalent to 27c020Isn't 27C4000/4002 a 27C4096 equivalent?
Double wrong.Macronix MX27C4000 is equivalent to 27C040 (32 pin 4Mbit JEDEC EPROM) but Hitachi HN27C4000G is same of 27C400 so 40 pin 4Mbit EPROM device with MASK ROM pinout.Always best thing to read datasheets before27c4000 is a 32pin equivalent to 27c020
Wrong this too.27c4001 is a 40pin equivalent to 27c400
No problem.I found that also programmer manufacturers like EETools made a lot of confusion among JEDEC and non-JEDEC device like 27C1000 and 27C1001.This is because some devices have been called with same name but different pinout.you're right I was confusing 4100 and 4001
I have found this too you would think with the price they charge for these devices they would have got it sorted by now..i found that also programmer manufacturers like EETools made a lot of confusion among JEDEC and non-JEDEC device like 27C1000 and 27C1001
Maybe there is voltage drop (possibly due to dirty IC legs)? I'd try setting 13.5V in the programmer.Anyone tried this conversation and owns a ChipMax2?
Everything went smooth except programming the Hitachi HN27C4000G. I bought 10 of them through BuyICNow, and all of the 10 results in a "Program Error" at about 3 ot 7%.
I tried to download the romset though different sites, but none of them (sets or the 4 different possible files for this chip) worked :/
I will do this and reportEEtools said:Please send 1 failed chip and your binary file and we will investigate and let you know what the problem is. We moved so, please
send the chip and the file to 881 Yosemite Way, Milpitas, CA 95035 in attention to my name, Cheryl Park.
Thank you,
