To battery or no battery (CPS2 games)?

Do whatever you feel more comfortable with. I usually test my CPS2 games on battery once in a while just to see if they are still alive.
Replaced a battery the other day on one of my CPS2 B boards, added a support for easy replacement in the future.
The battery was produced in October 1993. This was the reading I got...

I had searched around and hadn't seen an example of an all-in-one with a battery mod. (maybe I just missed it)

That's definitely something I'll do in the future.
 
I had never seen an all in one, didn't even know they existed until I saw one in @crans shop, but it wasn't for sale
I was intrigued and knew I need it one in my collection working or not.
Found one in Mexico from an operator the one in the picture and already had the Arduino mod done.
Now I'm happy but I still need to buy more JAMMA happiness
