In 2019 I thought it would be fun to take some arcades to my local comic con. I was only able to take one, and I enjoyed watching people's reaction to a capcom big blue chilling in the game area. At that time I did not have any candy cabs, but the big blue really stood out because the game area of our comic con normally only has consoles and card games.
The next year, was covid (2020) so we did not have a con. In 2021 we did have a con but I was so busy I couldn't make it. So in 2022 I got the itch to take "a few cabs" and maybe host a tournament......
An epic weekend was had. Most people had never seen or heard of candy cabs, and we had alot of people drive in from out of town to play in the SF2 and SF3 tournament.
Of course CHUNITHM was a massive hit and it had a line for it almost the entire weekend.
It was stressful, challenging, but rewarding. They were moved in Friday and moved out Sunday. They even got a shout out on the local news. Epic Arcade weekend
