Triforce - easiest way to get 5v/gnd for CF card?

Little documentation exists.

I would just do a "beep" test between the 5 V JVS power pin and the pins on: J3, J4 and J5

For now - i have it hooked up to the same power supply that is supplying power to the Triforce...

But am getting an error 01 (this game is not acceptable by the main board) - regardless of whether I have the CF adapter plugged in or not.

I am able to netboot fine, and I grabbed the code from the CF card before I wrote the MKGP image.

Anything else to check?

I was messing with the dip switches - and when I set it to Off/On - bam, fired up.... I saw elsewhere that they both needed to be OFF to work, but not in my case...

I know they both need to be set to ON for NetBoot.

Isn't there a power connectort for the gdrom? That should have 5V, GND and 12V.

I didn't touch the dip's on the fingerboard - these are on the media board inside the unit.

So did you get cf boot working in the end. My triforce 3 is not booting from cf only netboot. Already changed the jumper of the media boarc and still get errors..

What brand and size of compact flash cards are you using?
On chihiro, it expects a 512MB compact flash card. You can use a smaller one up to 128MB, but you need to partition it like a 512M one.
A bigger CF works as well, but again, I needed it to appear as a 512M

Error 25 cannot access GDROM-DRIVE is what I get when it can't access the compact flash card. I assume if the firmware isn't CF compatible, you might get that error as well as it will only try to access a gdrom drive and not a compact flash. If it has worked before your firmware should be fine.
