TTX2 SSFIVAE question (3, 4 and 6 buttons)

I have a cab with a ttx2 multigame, and the control panel is 2 players, with 4 buttons each. In SSFIVAE only 3 of the buttons work for each player. I am wondering if anyone knows if I can get the 4th button to work, or if maybe there is some limitation to the game where it only works with 3 buttons or 6 buttons. And if that is the case, I can just install and cable up the 2 other buttons, right?

Also, if anyone has a arcade/ttx2 manual for SSFIVAE that should help me cut down on questions

I think that you might need something like a capcom I/O and a kick hardness. The kick hardness will be directly wired to p1 and p2 4,5,6.. The kick hardness will them plug directly to the I/O. The I/O goes into the x2 system.
