Hey everyone, I recently purchased a TTX3 that I am trying to troubleshoot, but not having much luck with. Below are the system specs:

Model 405
i3 2120 3.3ghz
2gb RAM
N640

I've tried all the basic stuff:
Tried all ports DVI, VGA, HDMI on multiple working monitors.
Cleaned and reseated edge connectors on RAM, video card, and I/O connections.
Tried multiple hard drives.
Everything is connected, all fans are running.
Dip settings: 1 is on 2-4 is off
It sounds like the system is restarting every 3-5 minutes. When fans are running the red light is lit up on the I/O board, when everything powers down for the restart it switches to green.
The board itself looks surprisingly clean, no blown caps or leakage that I can see.
Thanks for taking the time to give this a look, I appreciate any assistance.

The restarting is normal, if the system fails to boot and sits idle it'll reboot. That could be caused by something else though.

You've done all the basic troubleshooting, time to start swapping components.

Test the GPU in another computer system if you have one handy, take it out of the TTX3 and shove it in a pc to confirm it works. You can try another card in the TTX3, but it will be easier to try the n640 card in another pc than it will be to find a compatible card that the TTX3 will take.
Swap the power supply out for a PC psu if you have one handy.

Outside of that, you need to test the ram/cpu somehow, swap in some known working parts if you have them handy. Not much else you can really do.
Thanks for the reply! Some new RAM got it up running. I'm excited to be playing some of these games for the first time.

Awesome, glad you got it working!

Upgrade the video card and more will work. There's a whole thread on that.
I have an i7 coming in to replace the i3, going to see what kind if difference that makes. I was reading through the thread and looking at the video cards, that's next on the list. 😊
