Tube oddness on Toshiba A68KJU96X

Hi there,
What do you think about the end of that tube? If you take a close into the black housing, there is a piece of glass which looks like an ice cube which looks crooked and graven, at worst broken.
Is it normal?

Well, the glass is melted when they secure the neck, and the neck part itself is also made from dripping hot glass, and in the end, this part gets broken off so i don't see a problem here.
I'm assuming the tube works?

I didn't tested the tube yet but I was afraid to get something bad because of this but if you say it's ok I'll test it soon.
