@twistedsymphony If I might make a suggestion about your beginner demo, perhaps demonstrate a simple project that an arcade enthusiast could make and benefit from. Like making a pcb that can take audio from the cab and output it to a headphone jack or a remote 5v adjustment pcb. Of course this project would demonstrate all the ideas and fundamentals you're looking to teach.

I always find when learning something new, the moment I feel accomplishment, being able to say "I made that" and be excited and proud even if its small and simple, I find that to be a powerful source of fuel to the fire of further learning and creation. Just a thought.
