Ultra Street Fighter II (Arcade backport)

RC5 seems to be bangin for me so far. I also did a banner thing for USF2 in case anyone wants it :) I just like the way it looks on Batocera's little theme thing. This is a PNG that is transparent behind it.

I actually own this game on switch 1 digital and physical copy, so I can compare with this release. it's nice to see a CPS2 version, I can't wait to play on the MiSTer
 
This version keeps getting better, strygo!

I really like the option to choose between Classic and Modern controls through the configuration menu. It feels like a very clean solution that gives players flexibility while still keeping the game itself consistent.

For me, that's exactly the kind of option that works really well here: it adds choice without fragmenting the core Super Turbo gameplay and balance.

this does seem to be a bit of a barrier, i started looking at getting keys from my switch and well... its a bit of a rabbit hole!
 
So i finally sat down and got the roms compiled for this, pretty cool seeing this play on my astro city.

If any arcadeprojects members are having trouble getting everything together send me a pm. I've compiled it for mame and mister, not sure how to get it going on darksoft multi yet.
 
Coming back to say I’m enjoying your ports are amazing especially on mister, the CPS+ core and it’s arranged music is great..

With that said and this may be off topic.. what is the likelihood of 3rd strike getting this same treatment? Backport the arranged soundtrack and perhaps the ps2 cpu difficulty to the arcade version. Your ports prove its possible.
 
Tried rc5 in versus mode today, seems to have regressed compared to previous build on mister? Speed seems really slow no matter which speed option you pick in service menu. Arcade seems fine.

To be fair, usf2 on switch doesn't have any speed options.
