Replaced caps on an MV4 having sound issues and decided to replace battery and bios.
During testing metal slug 1 would randomly drop audio during demo and metal slug 3 would freeze during intro every 30~mins or so. Ran carts in a MV1C with no symptoms but running metal slug 3 with unibios 4 on the MV4 or MV1T would freeze. Erased EPROM and downgraded to unibios 3.3 and it seems to be running ok so far.
Unibios 4 seems to have some incredibly specific issues with some game + hardware combinations.
Anyone know anything about this?
