Greetings.
I have what appears to be three problematic Konami System GX components and am posting to find advice, experiences from members with similar experiences, etc. to determine next course of action. This can include simply keeping the components as spare parts boards for myself and other members if that is sensible.
1) Motherboard -- when disconnected from either a top or bottom ROM board powers up to an all-white screen
2) Racin' Force ROM board -- when connected to a known working motherboard board only displays an all-black screen; I have a second Racin' Force ROM board that boots and enters into gameplay without issue using the same motherboard
3) Gokujyou Parodius -- boots and enters into gameplay but all entities on screen are surrounded and overlayed with white lines.
Up front, I am a novice without any experience in diagnosing faulty components nor do I have the tools to do so, but am also open to acquiring both in the future when time permits and a suitable entry level opportunity presents itself.
Thank you.
