I'm thinking of going another way with this for several reasons.

1. Futureproof- Buy a few sets of replacement strips, set for life
2. Economical- 6 strips for $22
3. Phone Control- Once I'm finished I really don't want to open up the CP any more than I have to.
4. Customizable- See below

Does anyone know what the connectors are on these smart strip LEDs? I was thinking of lining my Vewlix C's light tray with six of these. In order to do it well I need to make some tight 180 degree connections between the 2 ft strips. For a test, I shoved 3 in the cabinet as a snaky mess and it luminated the move strip well enough but I found it a bit dim. I also didn't notice much spotting of the individual bulbs. Seems like adding 3 more would get it over the hump.

Spitballing a bit here but I think in the future I'd like to make a opaque panel with some non-game-specific art routed out of the panel for a bleedthrough effect? Alternatively an epoxy based mosaic? This would replace the glass panel that is currently there. Is there some sort of film/filter that will help diffuse the individual leds?

Anyone have any issues with where this idea is going? I'd also love it if anyone has any idea what type of connectors these might be.
