Placed a big ol Digikey+LCSC order; I'll be attempting to mod the OpeNITHM repo to fit in the space of the Vewlix movestrip.

I'll be honest, I hadn't considered that. I think I'll be fine? I've seen a range of placements in YouTube by people using a Tasoller

Im sure it could work. Its the closest you can get to the screen. Ive seen them as well.
