I'll work on getting that set up then. I can probably powder coat them, but it'd save a bunch to just have bare metal, if you guys were interested in that at all.
 
Only the later versions were red, the original Vewlix F/L brackets were bare metal...

I'm kinda bitter about it honestly... I mean Taito sells the cabs with the brackets... They COME with the cab!
To the point where you CANNOT order a set from Taito parts division (no matter how much you are willing to spend, they don't sell 'em PERIOD).

Now when KC gets USED cabs, sure some have the brackets and some don't (they are used)... IMO he should then sell the cabs as-is (ie if they have 'em they have 'em, if not sorry).
But that's not actually what he dose at all! He removes the brackets from EVERY SINGLE CAB he resells, regardless if they came with them.
Then when I asked for a set, he asked me for 80$... 80$!

Not cool man, NOT FUCKING COOL.
I purchased two cabs, now maybe mine never came with brackets, and then again maybe they both did (KC would make 160$ selling them, so can I really trust that they BOTH did not). :cursing:

I would prefer powder coating, but I’ll take bare metal as well.

I’m in 100% for one set, maybe a second set depending on price.

Maybe a new Interest Check thread is in order?
 
I would go for powdercoated too if possible. I would buy sets for the cabs, so would need black, orange and red :D But will take them bare.
 
@jassin000 that's the one. I would love it red, but I right now I don't mind any color since I'm gonna be moving by the end of the year. So I would try to get them asap to see if they are good
 
Could one just make these from some stainless steel shelving brackets from the hardware store and drill new holes to match? Or are those square bits at the top essential for something?

Maybe... For me it was about having official Taito made brackets.
That being said, IF you have no source for these originals yea make something!
The panels are soooo much neater/nicer to move around mounted to the cab like this.
 
They ship with the Chewlixes as well so they must be available from somewhere. Maybe the Alibaba Chewlix sellers could help?
 
I would take a set as well! No preference on powder coated or not. I was going make my own, but the metal shop I normally have access to is closed due to the pandemic.

I'll start on this and get an idea how much they'll cost this week. Probably two flavors- galvanized and powder coated.
