It looks like they use socketed eproms on the cartridge so it's probably not too difficult. I have no idea though.
 
You won't have to do a byte swap like you would for changing regions. I'm not sure if you would have to burn a full set or just a couple though.
 
Hmm, I suppose taking a look at at the MAME dumps would give a hint. Should have thought of that :whistling: A ROM swap (partial or full) sounds a-ok :D Been looking for VP1 New for a while and possibly found a decently priced VP1 Old. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't an absolute no-no before I pick it up.
