Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Offline Version legit?

I have seen people on Ebay and various fourms selling either a Lindbergh Yellow or Lindbergh Silver with something called Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Offline Version. I was just wondering is there a legit version of this game that can work offline or is this just a hack or bootleg that everyone is selling for a lot of money?

It’s part of the hacked multi boot version all patches to work offline .

I am guessing instead of a whole multi they just put a single game on the drive?

I think I remember hearing of an offline update that Sega released for FS. If that's true, then there probably is legit hardware too. Most likely you would have to scour Yahoo Japan to find it though.
