So a little update. Still need the manual though.
I had to make a power lead and then I could fire up the ringwide and it boots to the game but comes up with the following error. 3111 serial com1 error
Without the manual I can’t seem to work out what “serial com1” board is. I have googled for ring edge com boards but only jvs style com up. Could it be the type 2 jvs that has the db9 plug on the side?
The ring wide still has all of its little rubber plugs in and the jvs port was plugged, com1 and com2 are empty like they were used, so that is confusing also.
I have 3 power supplies that came with it. A large 12v for the RW, a smaller 12v that goes to a 4 pin YL plug. Then the last one is a 24v power supply that only goes to a 14 pin plug of unknown type, the 14 pin also has the service and test buttons and speaker outputs and volume control and 5v.
The test menu also described my system as satellite 4. I changed the network settings and noticed it is now satellite 1.
I can enter the menu but cannot see anyway to make it the main terminal. Is that a different key chip or software?
Anyone got any clues on what board the 14 pin plugs into and what com board may be missing?
Cheers
