War Gods - missing red = ISSUE RESOLVED

Anybody experienced washed out colors from their War Gods PCB? My board appears to be missing red from its R,G,B output. Well I guess the red is there but it’s very dim …. Any other board I put in my cab displays very vivid color so the monitor has been ruled out. Does anybody have knowledge with this board that could point me in the right direction of where the colors come from? Seems to be no schematics on this board listed.

There is very little on the repair for War Gods PCBs on the internet. along with that Midway never supplied a schematic, so troubleshooting this board is terrible. I Can follow the JAMMA edge through a bank of resistors and to a 7407 buffer and then I’m lost ….

After doing quite a bit of digging I tried Googling “Wolf arcade board issues” and I came across a thread on a UMK3 board that was missing blue from its color pallet.
‘Zenomorp’ who is very active on the Arcade Projects community recommended testing for shorts to ground starting at the resistors and working your way to U97 and U91 …. Well it turns out U91 is a 7407 buffer.

Ordered a 7407 buffer from Mouser, replaced it and BAM! Have the entire color pallet back up and running! Thank you Zenomorp for resolving this issue back in 2021 for another Wolf Board and for anyone else that runs into this similar issue.
