Was wondering what all needs to run on 100v in a vewlix db? I am going to be swapping the monitor and wasn't sure if the psu, sound amps or anything else are running on 100hz? I can get a stepdown adapter, but then would need to run a 120v strip or something into the cabinet for the computer and monitor. So if its only the monitor and I am not running any jamma\jvs boards, would I be good running the cabinet itself off of 120v?

There's a 12V PSU that powers the audio amp and the JVS IO that you need to replace. Mean Well LPS-75-12 and the Cosel LHA75F-12 are drop-in replacements.

The stock Diamond Black monitor should already be 100-240V.

So replace the PSU with one of the above and then i can run the entire cabinet off the wall 120v? Thanks man, super helpful!

Just realized you said Diamond Black, this is for a Diamond Blue, guess thats what I get for not typing it out lol. Is it the same on Diamond Blues?

Oh right, sorry. I'm an idiot.

120V. I assume you're in the US.

You don't need to change anything, you can plug the cab in as is.

The original 12V PSU is 100-120V compatible.

The Diamond Blue monitor should be 100-240V. It plugs into the power strip next to the PCB tray, correct?

The only thing that is strictly 100V on Vewlixes is the Wei-Ya JVS PSU that came with the F and C models. You don't have that.

You're good to go.

Piggybacking off this thread. I have 2 F’s that I plan to run consoles/PC in. I eventually plan to replace the monitors but will probably use the stock ones for the short term. I am going to use the harness by lemonyvengeance to connect up brooks pcbs. Since it uses the existing wiring I’m assuming ill need a replacement psu for the Fast IO board?
