What cab uses this CP hinge?

my recent acquired Astro City came with the wrong hinge for the Control Panel. I’ve since replaced it with the proper one but I’m curious what cab this is supposed to go on, anyone know?

Note the amount of screw holes and model number.

Looks like a regular Astro / Blast / Net / Versus City CP hinge with the ends snapped off? Do the ends look like they have been filed down?

Ah snap, good call. They do look like they’ve been filed down. Why the heck would anyone do this??
